Noida Chemicals Chemistry of Trichloroisocyanuric Acid
After hydrolysis in water, TCCA will be converted to hypochlorous acid (HOCL), which has strong microbial activity. The hydrolysis by-product, cyanuric acid, acts as a stabilizer and prevents conversion of hypochlorous acid into hypochlorite ion (OCL-) owing to sunshine and heat, which has low microbial activity.

Noida ChemicalsHydrofluoric (HF) acid is used mainly for industrial purposes (e.g. glass etching, metal cleaning, electronics manufacturing). HF acid also may be found in home rust removers.HF solutions are particularly used in the glass industry (frosting, satining), in crystal activities (defrosting)and in ceramics activities.Also, in metallurgical field, these grades are used in surface treatment, cast-iron-steel and stainless steels cleaning.HF solutions are also used in other more general applications such as the separation of rare earth, or utilized as a catalyst. Hydrofluoric acid attacks glass, concrete, and many metals. It also attacks carbonaceous natural material such as woody materials, leather, and rubber.

In contact with metals with which it will react, hydrogen gas is liberated and the danger exists of a spark or flame resulting in an explosion. HF is used in many labs and in the glass shop on a regular basis. It should always be stored in plastic bottles. Containers of HF should be stored in secondary containers made of polyethylene in areas separate from incompatible materials. All work with hydrofluoric acid should be conducted in a fume hood to prevent exposure by inhalation. Splash goggles and Neoprene gloves as well as laboratory coats should be worn at all times to prevent eye and skin contact.

RADOPOL : Pelletized Activated Carbon is a non-graphite form of carbon which could be produced from any carbonaceous material such as coal, lignite, wood, paddy husk, coir pith, coconut shell, etc. Activated carbon manufactured from coconut shell is considered superior to those obtained from other sources mainly because of small macrospores structure which renders it more effective for the adsorption of gas/ vapor and for the removal of colour and odour of compounds.

Indion NIP (Ion Exchange Resin) is a Type 2 strong base anion exchange resin in bead form having benzyl dimethyl-ethanol ammonium groups. These groups are less strongly basic than those in Type 1 resins, resulting in a higher regeneration efficiency with lower operating costs. INDION NIP is based on cross-linked polystyrene, and has an isoporous structure. INDION NIP has a high capacity for the natural organic matter present in some surface waters and has excellent resistance to poisoning by this organic matter.

Storage:
Ion exchange resins require proper care at all times. The resin must never be allowed to become dry. Regularly open the plastic bags and check the condition of the resin when in storage. If not moist, add enough clean demineralised water and keep it in completely moist condition. Always keep the resin drum in the shade. Recommended storage temperature is between 20 C and 40 C.
